Introducing Lauren Moffatt
Even though Lauren Moffatt has chosen recently to close her namesake label to focus on a new label, she is still a name to be known and worn.
Lauren Moffatt is a New York based fashion designer as well as a CFDA inductee. She launched her women’s ready to wear brand in 2000 after she left her job as a graphic designer. Lauren’s aesthetic is based on her training in Fine Arts. One can see her love of fine art and modern design in her prints and fabric selections. She paid close attention to color, texture, and detail which is seen in each of her unique pieces. Her collections have been featured in many publications including Vogue, Elle, WWD, Glamour, as well as many others.
Lauren began her fashion career in a thirty one foot sailboat docked on the Hudson River in New York. She constructed many of the pieces herself for the first two seasons of her career.
You can shop the last few pieces left of her namesake collection on Mulberry Muse. Lauren Moffatt’s collections are best described as Vintage Chic. Lauren’s collections are girly, whimsical, colorful, and comfortable. Think peter pan collars, peplum details, fun prints, flowing skirts, bow details, and much more. They can be paired with simple bottoms or one may mix prints and styles for a unique look. Her pieces will be in your closet for years to come and coveted by those who did not snatch them up while they could.
