Transitioning Your Summer Wardrobe to Fall Clothing
Summer is coming to an end and it's time to say farewell to our summer clothes. If you're like me and do not have a huge closet, you must pull all your summer clothing from the racks and store elsewhere to prepare for the colder seasons. The hard part is knowing what to keep out and what to bin up. Questions like the following may remain on our minds: Can I wear denim shorts in the winter? Should I pack away my lightweight button-ups? Can I still wear florals when it's cold? This blog will cover all of these questions. Keep scrolling to reveal how to transform summer staples into functional fall outfits. Here's some of my favorites:
1. Denim Shorts
I love wearing denim shorts when it's hot so it's hard to part with them when seasons change. However, I recently realized that I can still enjoy denim shorts when it's cooler out. All you need to do is add a heavier top/sweater, plus a jacket. If your legs get cold easily add some tights or leggings.

2. Denim Skirts
Just like denim shorts, denim skirts also look great paired with a blazer/jacket. Add some sophistication by wearing knee-high boots or tights.

3. Button-Down Blouses
You may want to think twice before storing away your lightweight button-downs. Button-downs are great for winter because you can easily adjust them to fit any season. Instead of rolling the sleeves up, wear them down and layer up with a sweater, heavy jacket, a cute pair of jeans, and your favorite booties.

4. Florals
Last but not least on the list is florals! Florals are a must-have print during summertime but they also work during the fall. Pack away your bright floral pieces and focus on florals that feature dark colors like blue, purple, and green. Pair with a brown/black jacket and other dark-colored accessories to create a cute fall look!
