Spring Outfit Ideas 2021 - Standout Trends to Try

Last year's fashion week demonstrated an entire new identity. Because of the pandemic, designers opted for Livestream shows and socially-distanced runways when showcasing their new collections. Although things looked a little different, fashion designers like Fendi, Ulla Johnson and Isabel Marant did not disappoint as there were hundreds of looks to obsess over. From refreshing color palettes to wide leg pants, here are the best fashion trends to wear this spring and summer.
1. Sorbet/Pastel Tones
First on our list is pastel and sorbet shades. Refreshing pastel tones are great for spring as they comply with a large array of skin tones and can be worn day and night. Wear a sheer pastel top over a bralette this summer or take on a playful ruffled-detailed dress. Pair with sorbet-colored shoes for a monochrome look or match with a neutral sandal to balance it off.
2. Sexy & Sheer
This next trend is a must-have for summer. From see-through maxi dresses to oversized mesh tops, we saw a range of sheer styles on the runway from designers like Dior and Fendi. Wear a sheer top underneath a lightweight knit sweater or throw on a sheer maxi over a bathing suit. See how we styled the fad below:
3. Wide-Leg Trousers
It's no doubt that working from home had influence on the runway this season. Wearing mostly sweatpants during quarantine has made it hard for some of us to get back into our old office-attire. Our 'work pants' may have consisted of slim-fitting, tailored pants however designers like Chanel and Louis Vuitton have embraced a comfier alternative with wide-leg trousers. Take on the style by pairing with a slouchy blazer or sweatshirt and finish it off with a low-heel or pump. Take a look at our curated picks below:
4.Bubble Gum Pink
There are plenty of color trends that make it to the runway, but one of the biggest color trends this year was bubble gum pink. From Valentino's oversized button-down shirt to Chanel's classic high-waisted pant, the ways to embrace the nostalgic flavor is nearly endless. Throw on a hot pink jacket over a neutral-colored dress or, (if you're feeling extra bold) go for a monochromatic look by dressing head to toe in the dauntless color. See our favorites below:
5. Quirky Cutouts
